About us

Okahandja Samaritans Network is a Community Based, Non - profit making organization established in 2001 and registered with the Ministry of Health and Social Services. We are serving the community of Okahandja and surrounding areas in the following ways:

Soup - Kitchen:
Give soup to Orphans and Vulnerable Children, Elderly and Terminally ill people two times a week.
Home Based Care: Handing out food hampers to people living with HIV/AIDS
OVC School Program: Paying school fees, buying school uniforms and school stationery for children whose parents cannot afford it
Kids Club: Providing different creative activities for children to take them away from street lives and develop them into better citizens of the country
Spiritual Fellowship: Uplifting the spirit of people to transform their lives in accordance with the biblical truth
Literacy Training: Provide education to adults who cannot read or write
Income Generating Activities: Engaging the community members in creating employment opportunities to improve their living standards and to become self-sustainable
Training & Development: Equip, develop and mentor the community members in different areas to gain skills and knowledge to maximize their potential
